Oh, Valentine's Day. The one day of the year where you're either happier than a shit brick, or you're more emo than some lanky "poet" with a knife gouged in his wrist. Don't question my metaphor. I'm sick and running on a couple hours of sleep. Not much that I'm going to say will make sense.
In any case, Valentine's Day. The day of love. Or for those of us who have no lovers, Single's Awareness Day. It's the day where all breathing souls will post icky serenades to their blow up dolls...I mean... lovers, or they will post pity-me statuses about how no one loves them.
To be completely honest, to me Valentine's Day may just as well not exist. It's simply another day in my life. The day starts out with a loving text from my daddy. I reply. I get a loving message from my mother on facebook. I reply. I call my mother. She talks my ear off about what she needs to get done in the next month. I don't even get a chance to tell her that the springs in my bed are leaving lovely holes in my body (although she already knows this :| ) She then graces me with the words of wisdom that girls on facebook really need to grow up. Just because they don't have an "other," it doesn't mean that they don't have anyone in their lives that they love.
"They have friends. They have children. They have family." Those bitches need to get real.
"T_T I'm nowhere near my family. I have no children. I've barely talked to any of my friends in two days. And I'm single..." fml
It's not a big deal though. All throughout my childhood, I've only liked Valentine's Day for the candy. Pshhhh screw love. Half the people that are so "in love" are probably just fuck buddies anyway. That's my hypothesis when taking into account today's fuck loving society. But I digress, Valentine's Day and Halloween. If it's a holiday that gives me a good excuse to buy a shit ton of chocolate, then that's all I need. Sure, I'm celebrating love...my love for chocolate.
But seriously, the day's overrated anyway. I doubt anyone even knows WHY we have this day. Still Alive?
Has it really been over a month and a half since I last posted?! X3X ...and here I thought I would have spammed new posts over Christmas break...
In any case, I'm still alive! No need to worry XD A lot's actually happened since my last post so I don't have as much time to dedicate to this blog as I did last semester. Mostly I got myself a second job *w* finally! I'm working about 20 hours a week aside from classes and sleeping and being a lazy pile sooooo yeah, the time just flies!
I've been meaning to make this post for awhile, but didn't feel the ambition until just now XD Mostly because I have to go to work in a half an hour. Not enough time to play a video game, not enough time to dedicate to homework, I already did my usual rounds on the internet so I had nothing there, so here I am, making this post, reminding you that I am still kickin :3

Our Homestuck Adventures cont...
I have decided that my first post about my roller-coaster of reactions while reading the ever-so-popular Homestuck was becoming a little lengthy and has started to become difficult for me to navigate through. Because of said difficulties, I have decided to start a second post continuing Omicas's epic struggle with interpreting the complex web series.
Act 4 Part 4
As it turns out, I must have stopped as a really bad place last time. Upon continuing my reading, I have discovered that immediately after that last animation, we get to see not only the Homestuck interpretation of the author, but he gives us a detailed recap of what's happened thus far. Needless to say, I skipped much of it because that's an awful lot of writing to read, but I DID read bits and pieces that confirmed some of my prior accusations about Spades and the Black Queen and such. So yeah, Jack is Spades. Black Queen is Snowman (or the 8 bitch). I also found out though (something I didn't exactly catch on to), but during the intermission, we saw Spades examining a tv screen with a troll on it, similar to what we witnessed when WV was guiding John. According to this recap, I guess Spades is this specific troll's exile-guide-person. (the name still hasn't been given in the friggin comic so I'm still withholding such knowledge *facepalm*).
Now the thing that's still confusing me is the timeline with these exiles. I assume the exiles are in the future, which I'm more than positive is the correct assumption. What's getting me is who came first. Spades? Or Jack Noir? I suppose logic would tell me that Spades was first, but then through some turn of events he became Snowman's lacky. But that still confuses things. The last we saw of Spades, he lost an arm and had a hideous scar on his face...as Jack Noir, his arm is still intact and he has no scar (as a matter of fact, Snoman, now the Black Queen, has a scar on HER face though). But what if it was the other way? What if he was Jack Noir before he was Spades? That wouldn't make sense, because as Jack Noir, he killed the Black Queen and turned into something bird thang, therefore bringing up the problem that Snowman shouldn't have been alive.
Whatever thinking about it gives me a headache...
I guess Homestuck doesn't follow the typical norm and DOESN'T end an Act with its recap. Instead, we truck straight on forward into story. What happens? Well, John winds up in Rose's house but Rose is asleep, but then he answers a troll as Rose and... gaaaah we see some trolls, whose names we're still unaware of, and we see Mom, Dad, and Grandfather...yeah.... they're running around doing who knows what.
Holy guacamole, a whole lotta other shit happens that I can't even hope to explain clearly and we find out WV used to be a farmer who's farm got destroyed by a war between the White King's forces and the Black King's forces! He somehow got the solders from both sides to rebel against the Black King, and just as they were going to attack, Jack-crazy-ass-bird-thing come flying in and kills the king. During this time, PM gets whatever item she meant to acquire from the White King...and a whole lot of pretty colors flash through the screen.
Act 4 Part 5...Will it never end?
JK, I'm finished, it's DONE! ACT 4 IS DONE! *weeps with joy* these acts are so long! b...b..but I made it! I MADE IT TTwTT ....wait a minute (you'll see in a few minutes)
*ahem* In any case...my reaction.
Although a lot of things seemed to happen in this last leg of Act 4, my brain still refuses to comprehend most of what I have read. As is the norm with this series...
In any case, the majority of this final section follows John and his escapades screwing around while being harassed by still unnamed troll. John, in his special little way, messes around with a computer and winds up creating multiple younger versions of himself plus the other kids (which I wish to point out are flipping adorable!) So cute *w* And of course John is such a terrible parent. One of the John babies turns out to be your every day gunslinger, talented enough for double pistol action and somehow winds up killing a man (who has a striking resemblance of Albert Einstein).
Now we find out that all the babies are somehow hurtled into the past from unnamed troll and that they grow up into the kids we've become familiar with. This presents a problem: there are eight babies and four children... obviously four of these eight babies turn into the children we know, but what about the other four? Well, if what I saw actually happened, Gunslinger John baby and Dirty hat Jade baby (if you read it, you'll get this reference) get sent back to 1910, which is hella earlier than when the children are said to be "born." This is also when we watch Gunslinger John baby mercilessly slaughter Einstein in a fit of blood lust rage. We are then hurdled 13 years into the future where these two particular babies are now older. We watch Gunslinger John Adolescent as he takes leave from Dirty hat Jade Adolescent...but we don't see anything after that. In short, we still don't know what relevance the extra babies hold. We have yet to see what happens to the Extra Spikey Hair Dave baby and Has Mom's Hair Rose baby.
I did have a theory that these extra babies would grow up into the guardians the children have... I mostly formed this hypothesis because the one Rose baby's hair was exactly like Mom's and because the two earlier mentioned babies were sent to the year 1910...but then I remembered: Mom = girl, Dad = guy, Bro = guy, Grandpa = guy ... Now unless there's some sort of secret Jade's hiding from us, there's no way that two girl babies and two boy babies can turn into one girl guardian and three boy guardians. It just doesn't make sense, unless again, someone's got a secret....then I also realized, the only guardian who technically could have been "born" in 1910 would have been grandpa...and even that's pushing his age...but then again, with all this time paradox nonsense, anything could happen.
Another thing that happened is that my earlier inquiry about Jack and Spade has been officially answered. Before reading the rest of this act, I asked my roommate to explain it to me, but I waited to mention it until I physically read the reasoning.
While Unnamed Troll is trolling John, we find out that Jack in Spade aren't actually the same person. They're, in a sense, the same person, but at the same time they're not. A better way to explain it is this (hopefully): The trolls and the human kids live in two separate "realities", if you will. Both realities are different for obvious reasons, but the process of events pertaining to certain things runs parallel with one another (such as the kids and the game, we find out that the trolls experienced something similar beforehand). If we compared these "realities" to a video game, then that would make Jack/Spades an NPC who's scripted to show up during the gameplay. Jack Noir shows up in the kids' reality and the trolls' reality, but his role switches between the two realities.
In the troll world, Jack (or Spades) plays a more heroic role. He helps the trolls overthrow one queen (if I remember right) and I can assume that these events can only lead to what we read during the Intermission. And according to unnamed troll, this particular Jack is the one we catch a glimpse of as an exile (whom we find out earlier were "exiled" to the desolate and mostly destroyed future human world for whatever reason).
In the human world, we have the Jack Noir who's running around in clown garb. He's the one who kills the Black Queen and, upon taking her ring, turns into a freakish monster and also kills the Black King and now he's some ungodly creature reeking havoc on everybody or something like that. Whatever it is, we find out from unnamed troll that this is ultimately what leads to the children's apparent future failure (which the trolls were more than willing to remind us of through multiple conversations).
So there you have it, the different between Jack and Spades...if I explained it correctly.
Oh boy, and the final animation...on...my...I...don't...even.
To my horror but also simultaneous excitement, we have another con air reference...my expressions reflecting on this video can only be conveyed through me mutilating screen caps of this entire animation *ahem*

Genuine content-ness quickly shifts to horror as slow-mo visions of John, the bunny, and screen shots of Con Air pan across the screen while the song "How Do I Live" beings to play. Actually it began to play at the beginning of the animation...but the singing started about here.
".... oh my gawd..."
This is a "do not want" reaction that we see from baby Rose as John forces the dirty bunny onto her.
"This song...not this song *covers ears*"
John shoves the bunny at baby Rose, sending Has Mom's Hair Baby Rose flying.
"omaigawdjohn"
Unnamed Troll watches these events play out. The expression on his face makes me want to replace "events" in the prior sentence with "idiocy"
"ehe...ehehe....ehehe"
Poor baby Jade makes the mistake of looking like she also wanted something. John graces her with another bunny in a rather visually violent action.

Unnamed Troll graces us again with his presence again. This time he's pounding on his own head.
"I feel your pain, man...feel your pain!"

" 8I What?...omaigawd...LMFAO! I can't believe I'm SEEING this! JOHN! OMG!"
...words' cannot express what anyone's feeling anymore... This expression replicates mine perfectly...except for the frequent bursts of giggles.
" ....ehehe...ohgawd..."
Some other things happened, but I'm posting a lot of pictures so now I'm going to be more selective. Now we're seeing John as our Con Air protagonist, playing some sick chords for the sick guitar solo.
"JOHN! OMGSTOP! I'M GOING TO DIE!"
Thankfully, that final one was the end of the animation...to be honest, when I first watched the animation I almost had tears streaming down my face I was laughing so hard. What a fantastic way to end an act *sniffle*
...or so I thought...
More of the trolls decide that they need to harass the other kids before we can actually conclude this chapter. The best, of course, is Tavros "trolling" Jade. He doesn't even "troll" her. He isn't even trying. He's actually acting kinda nice towards her... I'm almost confused. Maybe this is another reason why he's such a terrible troll. In any case, I still find him adorable.
THE END OF ACT 4...OMG FINALLY!
Little did I know last time that when I finished reading Homestuck for the night, I was literally one animation and one page away from the actual end of the act T_T *sigh* In whatever case, I shall still reflect on this tiny portion. Okay, well actually I guess this will only be the reaction of the animation.
As usual, so much stuff happens in so little time, that by the time the animation's done, I'm clueless about what I've just seen. What I did catch though, was a lot of Rose and Dave fighting, the baby kids are transported who knows where (somewhere away from John and his Con Air antics), Jack Noir killed a bunch of soilders, we saw WV, Dream Jade was trying to wake up Dream John while a comet is hurdling toward (the dream world??), by the looks of things Dream Jade is destroyed or killed (this is only speculation), Bro cuts a different comet in half, and a battle between Bro and Jack ensues.
The animation was cool enough, I just wish I understood what was happening. In whatever case, let us continue to Act 5, the act of ridiculous length (I can only assume since it sounds like we're going to get a face full of the 12 trolls and their lives).
Act 5, Part 1
As we open Act 5, we begin with WV *awwww!* but now he's in new garb. Well, not so much "new." It's the wraps of cloth we're used to seeing him in (without the squid print), but it's new compared to his farmer's outfit he was sporting during the battle. He flashes back to just after the battle when he rips a doll (which strikingly resembles Jack) and then finds a "cloth of souls," which he uses as his new robe. At this time, I also notice his surroundings look a lot like the place we were originally introduced to the exiles. It seems the unnamed troll was right about the exiles wandering around a vacant and destroyed human world.
We then jump to Dream John, standing over a dead Dream Jade. D: NOOO! Without the slightest hint of remorse over his lost friend, John scavenges Jade's body for the (White Queen's) ring, places it on his own finger, and runs off.
PM graces us once again, but like WV before her, is now in a somewhat familiar garb with the subtle change of color (here it's yellow instead of white) and also like WV before her, we catch a glimpse of a flashback. In this one, we see her kill a dude who resembles the Spades fellow, and she hands over the White royalty's crowns to Jack in exchange for the green package. With an expression of either anger or annoyance (as much of an intense expression as an exile can can express), she finds John, delivers the package, and leaves. What will she do from here? One can only guess! Will she keep delivering the mail now that the majority of the population is dead? Will her determined work-a-holic attitude in this suddenly barren land drive her to insanity? So much so that she will be forced to write letters from imaginary people to other imaginary people? Just so she can't experience the thrill of delivering mail? I guess we will find out...whenever the next page with her on it comes up *shrugs* What? You thought I knew the answers to those questions? Pshhhh, you give me too much credit.
John, whom has finally received to message thanks to the ever so dedicated PM, reads the letters included with the mystery item we have yet to see. One is from Jade, explaining this dream world to him and that it is now in trouble, and the other is from a third person; a "pen pal" as Jade refers to him. We, or at least I, have no idea who he is or who he could possibly be, hopefully we find out soon, but according to him, whatever is in the package was his idea...okay. Johns wraps up reading Jade's letter with a tear falling from his eye... and here I assumed he wasn't even fazed when he took the ring from her dead body, shame on me!
Oh shit! As John suddenly begins to morn over the loss of his friend, Jack Noir decides to interrupt the tender moment with his sword, in Johns face, demanding possession of John's newly grave-theft ring. You know, this guy's really starting to irritate me. He's kinda a huge jerk. You remember earlier when I referred to Dad and (Dave?) riding the respect train? Yeah, well pretty sure Jack needs to be on the tracks of that train. He needs to be bowled over by that respect train, preferably by someone who ends up on the respect train, otherwise my metaphor is going to fall apart TT3TT... I just realized, wasn't Jack fighting Bro earlier? What the... I guess we'll find out sooner or later. In any case, we leave Jack Noir facing off with a cyborg rabbit mutant thing who has taken a liking to John or something...I don't even know.
AR is a difficult individual to follow. When we first meet him, we don't even catch on that he's AR until the text refers to him as "AR(?)" He starts off as some regulator-I-stick-to-the-rules type of guy, but through his adventures of regulating rules, he finds a hover board and (despite his obsession with following rules) decides to give it a go. The results of this? Well, as we rejoin AR, he is wrapping himself in "caution tape," probably to symbolize his new found rebel side. He now regards himself as a renegade. Yep, that's the AR we remember.
The series continues, somehow Dad, Mom, and the Grandfather are in the dream world. How the hell did THIS happen? First PM is able to jump between the human and dream worlds, now the guardians? *facepalm* I don't even!
Grandfather drops off his two traveling companions, but picks up the dead Dream Jade body, and takes it with him as we ventures off with his ship and a sick and twisted tradition is kept when we see Grandfather shedding a tear over his newly taxidermied Dream Jade.... O_O .... this weirds me out. I'm just going to click on the next page...ok?...ok....
Luckily we jump to the White Queen... Wait, "luckily"? That's not right. I have no sense of emotion towards the White Queen. She really hasn't done anything to be likable...let alone really doing anything at all. But she does turn herself into an exile, probably from self pity for not being able to protect her kingdom.
Years into the future, as the four exiles are conversing or just standing there, it's hard to tell. I wish to point out that WV and PM's outfits have both faded to a dull grey color, but AR's "caution" tape is still a vibrant yellow...but I digress. WV, being the awesome dude he is, pulls out a familiar ring from under the tape wrapped around his knife. How did WV wind up with one of the rings? The last I could remember Jack and John were "currently" in possession of the rings. So either WV was bad ass and beat the shit out of Jack (which I highly doubt, since I assume Jack's still wreaking havoc) or he got it from John...Maybe we'll find out?
Speaking of the devil, my question is answered almost the instant after I ask it. We jump to John, holding the ring in the palm of his hand as he witnesses the future of WV holding the ring in a similar fashion. So I'm assuming this answers the question. I tend to forget Homestuck doesn't like to follow simple logic.
Then we are again recapped on the past events. From this I have learned.
The 8 babies that John cloned? The 4 kids and their guardians. Problem. Baby Jade, and other baby Jade...Jade's guardian? Grandfather (or I assume so). Someone has some explaining to do.
Ugh, the land the exiles are running around in? Called Skaia (isn't that the name of the game or some system or something computerized from the series?). That...is NOT... the human world...not even a destroyed human world. Stupid unnamed troll trying to confuse everyone and junk.
Oh great, about those kids. Okay, my original thought for the guardians was: Mom, Dad, Bro, Grandpa. I was wrong, turns out it's: Mom, NANNA, Bro, Grandpa. That's an odd turn of events that doesn't make any sense, imagine that.
Correction: Dream world comet, actually the dream world moon.
Exiles: They do wind up on earth, through whatever means that make no sense to me....
After the recap, we are introduced to a new planet called ALTERNIA and the ACTUAL Act 5, aka Hivebent. *sigh* Such frustrations will undoubtedly be experienced once again. It's only a matter of time. Now, let's be off.

Homestuck, Ya, You Heard Me
Okay, so here goes. I'm apparently one of the few who have never felt the overwhelming urge to read this odd web series dubbed Homestuck. The first time I was ever "introduced" to it was when I went to an anime convention last year, and a good portion of the attendees were clad in grey body paint, black T-shirts with zodiac symbols on them, and a wide assortment of horns. Among these oddities was also one strange kid wearing a large blue hood, brandishing a rainbow themed hammer. Personally, I never made the connection that rainbow-hammer-kid had anything to do with the bleak looking horde of our apparent zodiac. I just remembering pondering if his hammer was as heavy as it looked and also for a slight moment what these grey people were supposed to be.
Believe it or not, as a couple of us were sitting off to the side, watching these (which I know now are called) Trolls do a dance off (...it was very entertaining) I remember commenting "I'm willing to bet it's from some web series that we just haven't heard about yet..." oh little did I know...
Within the next couple months, two of my roommates became acquainted with Homestuck and now swear by it. There was practically an all out war between the four of us...almost. Two of us were strictly Red vs Blue fans and refused to read Homestuck because another one of us was strictly Homestuck, but then refused to watch Red vs Blue. Our poor third roommate (who's seen and read both) was caught in the middle of stale-mate. In any case, the whole dilemma is stupid beyond belief because - seriously - when we bitch to the other person about why they won't watch or read the other web series, the same points are always brought up.

But even though the opposing person has brought up the exact same point that you used only moments before, both of us refuse to budge like stubborn mules away from our placements... *sigh* I could go deeper into these bickering squabbles we always seem to have, but just thinking about it irritates me, so I'm not even going to go there.
Needless to say, I'm one of the hard core Red vs Blue roommates who refused to read Homestuck... yeah, we're not going to delve into this, but anyway, recently I decided to read through Homestuck, which brings me to the real reason why I've started this particular post: to blog about my experiences reading this ever so popular flash comic thing.
I had to admit, by this point, I'm already into the third act. Not because I found it amazing and have read the shit outta it, oh no no, only because just today I had the idea of blogging my reactions...at least I think I'm in the third act...I don't remember, they're all so long.
Anywho, I'll reflect on what I've read so far:
Okay, so we got this kid, and his name is John. Derpy lookin kid. Apparently he turned 13, got some presents, was harassed by some people, stuff happened, shit blew up, there was a nanny-ghost thing, I finally realized the happy green turd-lookin thing on his shirt is the ghost from Ghost Busters....at least I think it is... through a lot of complicated actions, got his hands on some hammer pogo thing, kicked some ass, has been running around like a lunatic.... I do have to say, the fight sequence thing between him and his dad, yeah, that made me chuckle. John's intense hatred for cake or anything made by Betty Crocker (that's probably spelled wrong) sending him into raging fits of waving his arms about and lashing his head around also tends to make me chuckle. The stupid talk about these mother effen card systems tho... I couldn't even tell you if half the words when talking about these freaking systems are fake or not. All I know is that I have no knowledge of them, the explanations make my head hurt, and every freaking person has a different one that needs to be explained to you...please make it stop!
There's this other kid, Rose. John's lack-of-arms didn't faze me much. Rose's lack-of-arms bothered me. Not sure why. She has some "I need to study your mental case" complex about her. Apparently she has the hots for some Dave kid. She looks like she should be goth. She destroys John's house more or less. She fights with her mother (I enjoyed this fight sequence too, oh Gawd, the hallow suicide threat? That killed me a little on the inside, but it was funny nonetheless), she knocks her dead cat outta his resting place so she can connect to the internet, she then TAKES the dead cat and runs off with it... I dunno what to think about Rose. She really hasn't done much rather than destroy John's house and kidnapped her own dead cat... Maybe I just need to give her more time. We'll see.
There's this cool kid named Dave. He, in general, amuses me, but I have to say, I don't exactly follow the whole "things that are ironic are cool" thing... I really don't. According to Dave, a lot of things that are in his house are "ironic" but I would never have thought so unless he labeled it that way...even then I think he should probably re-look up the definition of "ironic" but whatever. Nonetheless, he's amusing, and when his "dolls are badass, man" attitude quickly diminishes into "these dolls are freaking me out, man," ehehehe. Oh yeah, I guess Bro (Dave's brother...or caretaker...or something) has this weird doll fetish. I guess he, like, hosts porn sites based on dolls or something. That disturbs me a little. I suppose... there ARE guys out there... when they have hard times getting with real women...they do resort to unconventional hobbies...such as porn sites for dolls...I guess...let's move on!
The fourth kid, Jade. I've decided she's kinda adorable. To tell you the truth, there really isn't much I can say about her except that she has some weird mind telepathy thing going on, and when she sleeps, a robot version of her runs around, and she has some wolf thing...and her Grandfather, omg, her Grandfather! All the fight sequences of the children and their caretakers have been funny. Pretty sure Jade's killed me when I found out he wasn't even alive XD. I'll admit it, I laughed, I truly did.
Hmmm Wayward Vagabond? Is THAT his name? His initials are WV...anywho, he's adorable. I've decided I like him. He's not exactly the smartest person in the world, but he's cute, and adorable. He makes a "mayor" sash and builds a town made of cans, and some other stuff.
There's also this other guy...he looks kinda like WV, but I can never remember his name. There's already a lot of characters...and I already can't keep them all straight...and I still have 12 Trolls at least that I know will be introduced and will fuck up what I already accomplished of learning who is who. Hrmmm Oh well, I suppose...
Okay, so now that I've caught you up on the first 3 1/2 (I think) acts of my impression of Homestuck, it's time to move onward!
The remainder of Act 3:
Okaaaaay, now I have to try to remember what all happened between earlier and now. These acts are incredibly long TT_TT so...very...long... Did I mention I have no mother effen idea what's going on? I don't think I did. When I first posted earlier today, I failed to express how completely lost I am. I have no idea what's going on. I am dazed and confused, and all this new shit happening all the time is making the matter worse X3X
After watching that final animation for Act 3, I stared at the computer, trying to make sense of everything...but alas, I cannot. From what I hear, things wont make sense anyway for awhile yet...I guess I have a while yet of frustrated confusion *sigh*
So what all happened? Hmm, good question. Lessee...
Rose made herself a trollish friend and by nosy investigation on my part (by dragging one of my roommates to my computer and asking her flat out) I have found out that this particular troll is Kanaya (whom, I vaguely remember) gets shipped very hard core with Rose, for whatever reason. I do suppose, after reading the conversation between the two, they seem a lot alike. They both use large and complex words to almost one-up the other...
Oh, and of course, how could I forget? Dave also had the pleasure of being bothered by a troll. By initiating the same procedure I did earlier, I found this one was Tavros. Now I remember being told that Tavros is supposed to be an awful Troll. Awful as in "he really sucks but he tries so hard" awful. While reading through their conversation, I didn't fully understand this until Dave turned the tables on Tavros and started pulling this whole "we're going to get married" business. I really feel bad for Tavros. I said this once and I'll say it again. The best conversation I've read! Absolutely hilarious. Dave doesn't take any BS and then throws out this, "you can't leave me, we're stuck together now" speech. I almost wish I could print that conversation out and post it in my room so that whenever I feel angry I can just read it and be like "...omg....HAHAHAHAHAHA" cuz it totally would just make my day.
Ah yes, I forgot. This happened before Rose and Dave had their troll encounter, but we also got to see more of WV and the other nameless person. As it turns out, this nameless thing's initials at PM (or something like that) and is, in fact, a girl. News to me. How could you tell? In any case, WV finds PM and hands her some package, then they get shot at by another dude who looks like them as well and whose name I also forgot. I can't even remember the abbreviation. Ugh, these people are multiplying.
Dad also made a brief appearance. I forgot to mention earlier, but he was kidnapped by imps, but kept breaking outta his cell, causing hell, cuz he's cool like that. Well, when we got to see him again, he, once again, broke free from his captives. Upon being attacked, he brandished a random lighter, starting some big wig's hat on fire and then showered the ugly thing (the hat) in shaving cream, then continued by stomping on it. Somehow this won the respect of the big wig imp and Dad was suddenly released.
A person has to admire Dad's spunk. Just outta nowhere he comes flying, with a pipe in his mouth, wearing this awesome hat, coating everything in shaving cream, and caving into his pyro tendencies. I nod my head in approval at this man. He has won my favor. He may live.... was what the big wig imp was probably thinking, as was I.
Act 3-4 Intermission
Oh mother of pearl! What is this? Another story line to follow? MORE CHARACTERS?! I realize throughout the first few acts, I've seen these weird creatures multiple times when the kids surf the internet...but now I have to pay attention?! ...well I don't suppose I HAVE to pay attention, since it is the intermission...I just feel like I should know since it's the main thing going on at the moment.
So we're following this SS guy. Spade Slick or something similar. He's wearing a hat, and he's got that strange bar code on his arm that WV and PM had. Once again, through my creative ways (through skyping my roommate) I have been informed that he's sporting the bar code because he used to be an exile (which is what WV and everyone like him are, as a group, called). Obviously, this doesn't make any sense to me, but what else is new?
Anyway, we then jump over to some stout, bird looking thing in a hat and coat...right, his name is Clubs Deuce... some .2mph chase scene ensues...then we return to Spadey boy. Some dude's head gets bashed in, another dude with a voodoo doll comes out from nowhere (like an alpaca outta nowhere), jump back to Deuce...I just realized, I thought Deuce looked like a bird cuz I thought he had a beak, turns out it's just a triangular shape that his jacket's making. M'bad, apparently I suck at this game. Anyway we jump to Diamonds Droog, jump back to Deuce, find out Deuce has a cane called the "Bull Penis Cane"... hmm about that...thankfully when he realized what he's using, he has the sense to freak out. I would too if I realized I was beating the shit outta someone with something called the "Bull Penis Cane". Then we shift to Hearts B...something or other, by this point I just want the intermission to end. I am just not amused T_T
Although this quote amused me:
"If anyone tried to steal your WAX LIPS, you would eat their eyeballs and deliver an angry lecture into their empty sockets."
I'm slightly intrigued by the comment, but because it's almost 1 AM, my intense need to care is unbelievably low.
Wow...still reading this intermission... off topic, but did anyone notice that when Dave was screwing around with Bro's swords, there was a gunblade in there? Like as in Final Fantasy 8 gunblade? Damn straight, I have now decided that Dave is riding the respect train, along with Dad. I SUPPOSE it should be Bro that I'm respecting...but the smuppets thing... noooooo
Dear effen sea monkeys! It never ends! NEVER! This isn't an intermission! This is a brutal murder! Brutal! Brutal! Murder! This man is out to kill me. He made this intermission especially to kill me on the inside D: That's it, I rage quite! 100 pages left? FML, I'm done. Bed for me!
On that note, I would like to leave you with this last sentence that I read from this intermission.... *ahem*

Intermission Part 2
I forgot I'm in the middle of the intermission...fml... oh well, as I've been told, this intermission, although we don't want to admit it, is somewhat important and holds some form of relevance to Homestuck T_T Oh well, let us continue..
Okay, so we start off, basically, with Spadsey boy jumping around time. Even so to the point that we get to see Spades as an exile. I only gathered this thought beings that not only was I informed of Spades once being one, but also the spade shaped emblem gracing his exile threads. Logic only assumes that this is Spades as an exile, and that thought is mostly sealed when the exile nods at approval at Spade's hat. Time paradox for the win?...maybe if this intermission wasn't confusing as hell and if I didn't want to bash my head into the desk in desperation, hoping that this whole chapter was just a figment of my imagination.
Some more time paradox stuff goes on, and I continue to stare at the screen thinking "y'know, if Dad showed up here, everyone would be dead...within 3 minutes. Now THAT would be a REAL intermission!" It'd probably also be hilarious. I can just picture Dad with his shaving cream and pipe, creaming these idiots to death, and then making them spontaneously combust with his awesome!
In any case, the majority of the remaining characters are slaughtered in one way or another, even the dudes with the playing card names, except Spades...but he does lose an arm. LUCKILY after that, the intermission ends with us gaping at a picture of a troll with stubby horns and a ghost looking thing with claws hovering over him. Now because of my roommates, I already know who this troll is...but I'll hold off until the comic graces me with the already-known info.
Act 4
Okay, so we're in a place called Land of Wind and Shade, and we start off playing a flash game of sorts as John. This lil game is...entertaining, I suppose. You get to talk to yellow lizard creatures, you get to attack imps, and you get to fuck around with your stupid modus...whatever good that'll bring you. After several minutes of aimless wandering, I just begin to ignore to yellow lizards and make a beeline for all the imps, just to vent out some building frustration. Unluckily, this grandmother sprite creature must have noticed my lack of interest in being social. Some random icon blinks in the corner, and when I click on it, the grandmother sprite informs me (or John) that these "frogs" will play a large roll in his story. ...okay then. I continue to ignore the frogs anyway...but I DO stop to talk briefly to the random frog holding a clown figurine I remember John chucking into a deep abyss earlier in the story. He tries to sell the figurine back to me for an absurd amount of money so John automatically declines. Good boy. In anycase, I'm sure I missed a lot of somewhat important info by not talking to the frogs, but I'm sure I missed even more info after I cut the game short by proceeding to the next page without even figuring out what I was even supposed to do in this short game.
Act 4: Part 2
Alright, so here we are again, reading Homestuck. We're now on Act 4. We've played through the mini game thing, which I guess doesn't have much relevance, except to make it a point exactly what kind of situation John is in. He's in a dark and dreary place with yellow lizards, got it.
You remember that troll I mentioned earlier, whose name I didn't disclose? Yeah, we still haven't been given his name. He popped up briefly though while bugging John. I guess they're friends now...or something. Oh yeah, and then Jade starts to destroy Dave's house... I get a slight feeling of De ja vou? (yeah that's probably spelled wrong)
Afterwords, we are then introduced to the place Rose is hurdled to. This time, instead of the Land of Wind in Shade (where John is currently frolicking though), we find ourselves in a bright but wet place called Land of Light and Rain. Unlike Wind and Shade, this place is very purty, so many pretty colors! Did I mention how she got here? Probably not. I probably didn't even explain how John got to where he is now...to make the explanation simple: John's a special fairy, Rose installs a game, a meteor threatens to blow shit up, Rose (after destroying John's house) helps John create an item, the item saves John (and his house) by throwing him in the Land of Wind and Shade, John climbs down from his house, and is now where we just left him.... The same thing pretty much happened again, but this time Rose in John's place, and Dave taking over Rose's previous role. Now if things work out the way a person would assume, we'll probably see this two more times, because we have two more children to save, correct? I mean, Jade's already ripped the toilet from Dave's bathroom. I think it's safe to say history's gonna repeat itself a couple times yet.
I have to point out again, I think the exiles are adorable <3 Now we have three of them, WV, PM, ...and the third one who's abbreviation I haven't been paying attention to, but he's wrapped in caution tape. By now, they've pretty much settled their differences buuuuut, I almost get a bad feeling about how this could turn out. The two guys seem to be pretty hell-bent on impressing the girl. All in all, it's cute. WV gives her his precious chalk and the other one gives her one of Jade's weird stuffed squid things. *w* I think someone needs to make plushies of these three, because I would probably buy them, and I would put them on my shelf, and my heart would melt with the cute-ness!
Speaking of exiles, we meet a new character called Parcel Mistress who's wandering around in the same place that John's goofing off. She (obviously she must be female, hence her name) is a tall and slender creatures whose similarities to PM are a little unsettling. Because of this, I have concluded that Parcel Mistress IS PM, they are one in the same. (Upon citing my theory to my roommate, I have been informed that I am now thinking like a real Homestucker...uh oh).
In other news, I'm confused as hell. I know, what else is new?
I just need to bring this up quick, because it bothers me. John is fighting monstrous imps, okay? One of them gets shot by an oddly familiar looking gun. We catch a glimpse of the gun owner. Jade's grandfather?! What? I don't even.... Isn't he, like, dead? Ugh, whatever. There is no time LINE in this story. It's more like time squiggly-drawn-by-a-small-child. For all I know, Jade's grandpa is probably Teddy Roosevelt in disguise or something ridiculous (as a matter of fact, if I had to think up of what Homestuck TR would look like, he'd probably look like the grandfather)...As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be half surprised if Troll Moses hopped in long enough to part the Red Sea of Trolling, but then turned out to be human Chuck Norris, whom we thought was dead for years, but actually wasn't, because he's friggin Chuck Norris, man!
Oh yeah! BTW: the third exile's abbreviations are AR! *mental note*
...What Act am I On?... Oh, okay... Act 4, part 3...I guess
Oh glory, beat me with a bat. What IS this? I'm not sure how many panels I've read, but I can tell you I didn't understand anything I read. There's been a couple of trolls freaking out to the kids about shit that doesn't make sense...and the one with the green letters harassed John long enough to laugh a lot and threaten to kill him... right-o.
BUUUUT! I have no idea how far I am into the act, and I'm not exactly finished reading for tonight, but I HAD to update it RIGHT NOW! Sooo we've been following this Parcel Mistress lady every so often. Where I'm at, she just entered some place and walked past a dude with a diamond on his jacket! It's that friggin Diamond dude from that STUPID intermission, isn't it?! Why the FUCK is he wearing cat ears O_o ...
Dear Gawd, they're popping up everywhere! All these weirdos from the intermission! I'm having incredibly gratuitous flash-backs of pain and headaches and head bashing. Painful, PAINFUL memories of terror and shame. MEMORIES of fork eye-gouging and punching of small children! MEMORIES OF...this guys' name is Mr. Noir? What the hell?
Okay so this "dark queen" person reminds me of that 8 chick from the intermission, who reminds me of this fourth exile that appeared only moments before my writing this...and this Noir dude HAS to be the Spades guy... what kinda crap is this? Is it funny to confuse weary minded college students? Awww screw me sideways with a spork.
And then we see proof that PM and Parcel Mistress are one in the same! NOIR GIVES PM HER SWORD! TTwTT I'm such a genius! <-- a THIRD grader could have probably figured out they were the same person, but let me just have this moment!
NOTE* ~ Rose is referred to as The Seer by one of the trolls (She did mean Rose, right?...it was a girl, right? aww fuck if I know)
~ Aaaaaand Dave is called The Knight of Time :\ (In any case, after Tavros's conversation with Rose, I'm starting to find him awkwardly adorable. I mean, c'mon, asking Rose on advice on trolling Dave? You poor creature, you!)
At this moment, I wish to reflect on the many references to Con Air that Homestuck (mostly John) makes. Now, I wish to start this reflection by admitting that I may or may not have seen the entire movie (I know I've at least seen most of it). But as a small child growing up, there was always one line my sisters and I would lyrically song to one another in as deep and gruff a voice as we could muster. This line being "Put da bunneh...in dah box!" Because of this, I enjoy most of John's references to the movie because they mostly revolve around the damn bunny XD So watching John take on the role of the escapee prisoner, reuniting with his lovely wife and daughter (represented in Homestuck as two yellow lizards)... let's just say, it may have made me chuckle somewhat...maybe...and when he gave his "lovely wife" a hug, I may have chuckled again, and then exclaimed "what the hell am I reading?!"
Another mental Note* ~ fourth exile's abbreviations are WQ... what does that even stand for? Don't tell me it stands for "White Queen" to bring equilibrium with the previously introduced "Dark (or Black, I dunno) Queen" ...if that's what it means, I may sob.
And then what the bloody hell? We jump back to the Parcel Mistress and suddenly the Dark Queen's all white and junk...I don't even.. Is she even the same person? OMAIGOD This chick IS the White Queen! THE EXILE IS WHITE QUEEN! ...no wonder her handwriting is perfect...
Gawd, this probably means the Black Queen IS that 8 bitch from the intermission...*heavy sigh*
Then we're introduced to a new land: The Land of Heat and Clockwork. It looks very unpleasant, and somehow Dave is in a tux and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure what I witnessed in that animation. Dave, I guess, does some major ass kicking, which is all the better because he's wearing a mother fuckin white tux. He knows what real badass is...until his sprite shows up with Cal's head? I hope Dave kills that thing, and I hope he does it fast, because it freaks me out, man. And what's with those disk thingies that Dave's whipping outta his ass? What IS that? Some form of conveniencey I suppose...
...So Dave then turns himself into his sprite? Hmmm, I suppose I now suddenly understand many of floating Dave pictures I've been seeing on DA... To tell you the truth, I don't even know how to react to "Davesprite." What I CAN say is that it's waaaay better than the Cal thing...
So I'm going to end my post tonight with this next animation I watched. Again, a lot of shit went down and I'm clueless, but Mr. Jack Noir, HAS to be the damn Spades guy! After ripping off his clown themed clothing, I saw that fucking spade symbol! And that black queen or whatever... You know I don't even know. I'd still assume she was that 8 bitch if I didn't watch Jack attack her and turn into some screwed up bird thing...whatever, this whole thing doesn't make sense. She probably is the 8 bitch. Jack probably is Spades. And I'm ending it here cuz I'm going to double check my theory that Spades was the imp who "let Dad escape" a lot earlier in the series because he destroy the clown hat.

Needless to say, I'm one of the hard core Red vs Blue roommates who refused to read Homestuck... yeah, we're not going to delve into this, but anyway, recently I decided to read through Homestuck, which brings me to the real reason why I've started this particular post: to blog about my experiences reading this ever so popular flash comic thing.
I had to admit, by this point, I'm already into the third act. Not because I found it amazing and have read the shit outta it, oh no no, only because just today I had the idea of blogging my reactions...at least I think I'm in the third act...I don't remember, they're all so long.
Anywho, I'll reflect on what I've read so far:
Okay, so we got this kid, and his name is John. Derpy lookin kid. Apparently he turned 13, got some presents, was harassed by some people, stuff happened, shit blew up, there was a nanny-ghost thing, I finally realized the happy green turd-lookin thing on his shirt is the ghost from Ghost Busters....at least I think it is... through a lot of complicated actions, got his hands on some hammer pogo thing, kicked some ass, has been running around like a lunatic.... I do have to say, the fight sequence thing between him and his dad, yeah, that made me chuckle. John's intense hatred for cake or anything made by Betty Crocker (that's probably spelled wrong) sending him into raging fits of waving his arms about and lashing his head around also tends to make me chuckle. The stupid talk about these mother effen card systems tho... I couldn't even tell you if half the words when talking about these freaking systems are fake or not. All I know is that I have no knowledge of them, the explanations make my head hurt, and every freaking person has a different one that needs to be explained to you...please make it stop!
There's this other kid, Rose. John's lack-of-arms didn't faze me much. Rose's lack-of-arms bothered me. Not sure why. She has some "I need to study your mental case" complex about her. Apparently she has the hots for some Dave kid. She looks like she should be goth. She destroys John's house more or less. She fights with her mother (I enjoyed this fight sequence too, oh Gawd, the hallow suicide threat? That killed me a little on the inside, but it was funny nonetheless), she knocks her dead cat outta his resting place so she can connect to the internet, she then TAKES the dead cat and runs off with it... I dunno what to think about Rose. She really hasn't done much rather than destroy John's house and kidnapped her own dead cat... Maybe I just need to give her more time. We'll see.
There's this cool kid named Dave. He, in general, amuses me, but I have to say, I don't exactly follow the whole "things that are ironic are cool" thing... I really don't. According to Dave, a lot of things that are in his house are "ironic" but I would never have thought so unless he labeled it that way...even then I think he should probably re-look up the definition of "ironic" but whatever. Nonetheless, he's amusing, and when his "dolls are badass, man" attitude quickly diminishes into "these dolls are freaking me out, man," ehehehe. Oh yeah, I guess Bro (Dave's brother...or caretaker...or something) has this weird doll fetish. I guess he, like, hosts porn sites based on dolls or something. That disturbs me a little. I suppose... there ARE guys out there... when they have hard times getting with real women...they do resort to unconventional hobbies...such as porn sites for dolls...I guess...let's move on!
The fourth kid, Jade. I've decided she's kinda adorable. To tell you the truth, there really isn't much I can say about her except that she has some weird mind telepathy thing going on, and when she sleeps, a robot version of her runs around, and she has some wolf thing...and her Grandfather, omg, her Grandfather! All the fight sequences of the children and their caretakers have been funny. Pretty sure Jade's killed me when I found out he wasn't even alive XD. I'll admit it, I laughed, I truly did.
Hmmm Wayward Vagabond? Is THAT his name? His initials are WV...anywho, he's adorable. I've decided I like him. He's not exactly the smartest person in the world, but he's cute, and adorable. He makes a "mayor" sash and builds a town made of cans, and some other stuff.
There's also this other guy...he looks kinda like WV, but I can never remember his name. There's already a lot of characters...and I already can't keep them all straight...and I still have 12 Trolls at least that I know will be introduced and will fuck up what I already accomplished of learning who is who. Hrmmm Oh well, I suppose...
Okay, so now that I've caught you up on the first 3 1/2 (I think) acts of my impression of Homestuck, it's time to move onward!
The remainder of Act 3:
Okaaaaay, now I have to try to remember what all happened between earlier and now. These acts are incredibly long TT_TT so...very...long... Did I mention I have no mother effen idea what's going on? I don't think I did. When I first posted earlier today, I failed to express how completely lost I am. I have no idea what's going on. I am dazed and confused, and all this new shit happening all the time is making the matter worse X3X
After watching that final animation for Act 3, I stared at the computer, trying to make sense of everything...but alas, I cannot. From what I hear, things wont make sense anyway for awhile yet...I guess I have a while yet of frustrated confusion *sigh*
So what all happened? Hmm, good question. Lessee...
Rose made herself a trollish friend and by nosy investigation on my part (by dragging one of my roommates to my computer and asking her flat out) I have found out that this particular troll is Kanaya (whom, I vaguely remember) gets shipped very hard core with Rose, for whatever reason. I do suppose, after reading the conversation between the two, they seem a lot alike. They both use large and complex words to almost one-up the other...
Oh, and of course, how could I forget? Dave also had the pleasure of being bothered by a troll. By initiating the same procedure I did earlier, I found this one was Tavros. Now I remember being told that Tavros is supposed to be an awful Troll. Awful as in "he really sucks but he tries so hard" awful. While reading through their conversation, I didn't fully understand this until Dave turned the tables on Tavros and started pulling this whole "we're going to get married" business. I really feel bad for Tavros. I said this once and I'll say it again. The best conversation I've read! Absolutely hilarious. Dave doesn't take any BS and then throws out this, "you can't leave me, we're stuck together now" speech. I almost wish I could print that conversation out and post it in my room so that whenever I feel angry I can just read it and be like "...omg....HAHAHAHAHAHA" cuz it totally would just make my day.
Ah yes, I forgot. This happened before Rose and Dave had their troll encounter, but we also got to see more of WV and the other nameless person. As it turns out, this nameless thing's initials at PM (or something like that) and is, in fact, a girl. News to me. How could you tell? In any case, WV finds PM and hands her some package, then they get shot at by another dude who looks like them as well and whose name I also forgot. I can't even remember the abbreviation. Ugh, these people are multiplying.
Dad also made a brief appearance. I forgot to mention earlier, but he was kidnapped by imps, but kept breaking outta his cell, causing hell, cuz he's cool like that. Well, when we got to see him again, he, once again, broke free from his captives. Upon being attacked, he brandished a random lighter, starting some big wig's hat on fire and then showered the ugly thing (the hat) in shaving cream, then continued by stomping on it. Somehow this won the respect of the big wig imp and Dad was suddenly released.
A person has to admire Dad's spunk. Just outta nowhere he comes flying, with a pipe in his mouth, wearing this awesome hat, coating everything in shaving cream, and caving into his pyro tendencies. I nod my head in approval at this man. He has won my favor. He may live.... was what the big wig imp was probably thinking, as was I.
Act 3-4 Intermission
Oh mother of pearl! What is this? Another story line to follow? MORE CHARACTERS?! I realize throughout the first few acts, I've seen these weird creatures multiple times when the kids surf the internet...but now I have to pay attention?! ...well I don't suppose I HAVE to pay attention, since it is the intermission...I just feel like I should know since it's the main thing going on at the moment.
So we're following this SS guy. Spade Slick or something similar. He's wearing a hat, and he's got that strange bar code on his arm that WV and PM had. Once again, through my creative ways (through skyping my roommate) I have been informed that he's sporting the bar code because he used to be an exile (which is what WV and everyone like him are, as a group, called). Obviously, this doesn't make any sense to me, but what else is new?
Anyway, we then jump over to some stout, bird looking thing in a hat and coat...right, his name is Clubs Deuce... some .2mph chase scene ensues...then we return to Spadey boy. Some dude's head gets bashed in, another dude with a voodoo doll comes out from nowhere (like an alpaca outta nowhere), jump back to Deuce...I just realized, I thought Deuce looked like a bird cuz I thought he had a beak, turns out it's just a triangular shape that his jacket's making. M'bad, apparently I suck at this game. Anyway we jump to Diamonds Droog, jump back to Deuce, find out Deuce has a cane called the "Bull Penis Cane"... hmm about that...thankfully when he realized what he's using, he has the sense to freak out. I would too if I realized I was beating the shit outta someone with something called the "Bull Penis Cane". Then we shift to Hearts B...something or other, by this point I just want the intermission to end. I am just not amused T_T
Although this quote amused me:
"If anyone tried to steal your WAX LIPS, you would eat their eyeballs and deliver an angry lecture into their empty sockets."
I'm slightly intrigued by the comment, but because it's almost 1 AM, my intense need to care is unbelievably low.
Wow...still reading this intermission... off topic, but did anyone notice that when Dave was screwing around with Bro's swords, there was a gunblade in there? Like as in Final Fantasy 8 gunblade? Damn straight, I have now decided that Dave is riding the respect train, along with Dad. I SUPPOSE it should be Bro that I'm respecting...but the smuppets thing... noooooo
Dear effen sea monkeys! It never ends! NEVER! This isn't an intermission! This is a brutal murder! Brutal! Brutal! Murder! This man is out to kill me. He made this intermission especially to kill me on the inside D: That's it, I rage quite! 100 pages left? FML, I'm done. Bed for me!
On that note, I would like to leave you with this last sentence that I read from this intermission.... *ahem*
"Everybody out of the god damn way. You got a hat full of bomb, a fist full of penis, and a head full of empty."

Intermission Part 2
I forgot I'm in the middle of the intermission...fml... oh well, as I've been told, this intermission, although we don't want to admit it, is somewhat important and holds some form of relevance to Homestuck T_T Oh well, let us continue..
Okay, so we start off, basically, with Spadsey boy jumping around time. Even so to the point that we get to see Spades as an exile. I only gathered this thought beings that not only was I informed of Spades once being one, but also the spade shaped emblem gracing his exile threads. Logic only assumes that this is Spades as an exile, and that thought is mostly sealed when the exile nods at approval at Spade's hat. Time paradox for the win?...maybe if this intermission wasn't confusing as hell and if I didn't want to bash my head into the desk in desperation, hoping that this whole chapter was just a figment of my imagination.
Some more time paradox stuff goes on, and I continue to stare at the screen thinking "y'know, if Dad showed up here, everyone would be dead...within 3 minutes. Now THAT would be a REAL intermission!" It'd probably also be hilarious. I can just picture Dad with his shaving cream and pipe, creaming these idiots to death, and then making them spontaneously combust with his awesome!
In any case, the majority of the remaining characters are slaughtered in one way or another, even the dudes with the playing card names, except Spades...but he does lose an arm. LUCKILY after that, the intermission ends with us gaping at a picture of a troll with stubby horns and a ghost looking thing with claws hovering over him. Now because of my roommates, I already know who this troll is...but I'll hold off until the comic graces me with the already-known info.
Act 4
Okay, so we're in a place called Land of Wind and Shade, and we start off playing a flash game of sorts as John. This lil game is...entertaining, I suppose. You get to talk to yellow lizard creatures, you get to attack imps, and you get to fuck around with your stupid modus...whatever good that'll bring you. After several minutes of aimless wandering, I just begin to ignore to yellow lizards and make a beeline for all the imps, just to vent out some building frustration. Unluckily, this grandmother sprite creature must have noticed my lack of interest in being social. Some random icon blinks in the corner, and when I click on it, the grandmother sprite informs me (or John) that these "frogs" will play a large roll in his story. ...okay then. I continue to ignore the frogs anyway...but I DO stop to talk briefly to the random frog holding a clown figurine I remember John chucking into a deep abyss earlier in the story. He tries to sell the figurine back to me for an absurd amount of money so John automatically declines. Good boy. In anycase, I'm sure I missed a lot of somewhat important info by not talking to the frogs, but I'm sure I missed even more info after I cut the game short by proceeding to the next page without even figuring out what I was even supposed to do in this short game.
Act 4: Part 2
Alright, so here we are again, reading Homestuck. We're now on Act 4. We've played through the mini game thing, which I guess doesn't have much relevance, except to make it a point exactly what kind of situation John is in. He's in a dark and dreary place with yellow lizards, got it.
You remember that troll I mentioned earlier, whose name I didn't disclose? Yeah, we still haven't been given his name. He popped up briefly though while bugging John. I guess they're friends now...or something. Oh yeah, and then Jade starts to destroy Dave's house... I get a slight feeling of De ja vou? (yeah that's probably spelled wrong)
Afterwords, we are then introduced to the place Rose is hurdled to. This time, instead of the Land of Wind in Shade (where John is currently frolicking though), we find ourselves in a bright but wet place called Land of Light and Rain. Unlike Wind and Shade, this place is very purty, so many pretty colors! Did I mention how she got here? Probably not. I probably didn't even explain how John got to where he is now...to make the explanation simple: John's a special fairy, Rose installs a game, a meteor threatens to blow shit up, Rose (after destroying John's house) helps John create an item, the item saves John (and his house) by throwing him in the Land of Wind and Shade, John climbs down from his house, and is now where we just left him.... The same thing pretty much happened again, but this time Rose in John's place, and Dave taking over Rose's previous role. Now if things work out the way a person would assume, we'll probably see this two more times, because we have two more children to save, correct? I mean, Jade's already ripped the toilet from Dave's bathroom. I think it's safe to say history's gonna repeat itself a couple times yet.
I have to point out again, I think the exiles are adorable <3 Now we have three of them, WV, PM, ...and the third one who's abbreviation I haven't been paying attention to, but he's wrapped in caution tape. By now, they've pretty much settled their differences buuuuut, I almost get a bad feeling about how this could turn out. The two guys seem to be pretty hell-bent on impressing the girl. All in all, it's cute. WV gives her his precious chalk and the other one gives her one of Jade's weird stuffed squid things. *w* I think someone needs to make plushies of these three, because I would probably buy them, and I would put them on my shelf, and my heart would melt with the cute-ness!
Speaking of exiles, we meet a new character called Parcel Mistress who's wandering around in the same place that John's goofing off. She (obviously she must be female, hence her name) is a tall and slender creatures whose similarities to PM are a little unsettling. Because of this, I have concluded that Parcel Mistress IS PM, they are one in the same. (Upon citing my theory to my roommate, I have been informed that I am now thinking like a real Homestucker...uh oh).
In other news, I'm confused as hell. I know, what else is new?
I just need to bring this up quick, because it bothers me. John is fighting monstrous imps, okay? One of them gets shot by an oddly familiar looking gun. We catch a glimpse of the gun owner. Jade's grandfather?! What? I don't even.... Isn't he, like, dead? Ugh, whatever. There is no time LINE in this story. It's more like time squiggly-drawn-by-a-small-child. For all I know, Jade's grandpa is probably Teddy Roosevelt in disguise or something ridiculous (as a matter of fact, if I had to think up of what Homestuck TR would look like, he'd probably look like the grandfather)...As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be half surprised if Troll Moses hopped in long enough to part the Red Sea of Trolling, but then turned out to be human Chuck Norris, whom we thought was dead for years, but actually wasn't, because he's friggin Chuck Norris, man!
Oh yeah! BTW: the third exile's abbreviations are AR! *mental note*
...What Act am I On?... Oh, okay... Act 4, part 3...I guess
Oh glory, beat me with a bat. What IS this? I'm not sure how many panels I've read, but I can tell you I didn't understand anything I read. There's been a couple of trolls freaking out to the kids about shit that doesn't make sense...and the one with the green letters harassed John long enough to laugh a lot and threaten to kill him... right-o.
BUUUUT! I have no idea how far I am into the act, and I'm not exactly finished reading for tonight, but I HAD to update it RIGHT NOW! Sooo we've been following this Parcel Mistress lady every so often. Where I'm at, she just entered some place and walked past a dude with a diamond on his jacket! It's that friggin Diamond dude from that STUPID intermission, isn't it?! Why the FUCK is he wearing cat ears O_o ...
Dear Gawd, they're popping up everywhere! All these weirdos from the intermission! I'm having incredibly gratuitous flash-backs of pain and headaches and head bashing. Painful, PAINFUL memories of terror and shame. MEMORIES of fork eye-gouging and punching of small children! MEMORIES OF...this guys' name is Mr. Noir? What the hell?
Okay so this "dark queen" person reminds me of that 8 chick from the intermission, who reminds me of this fourth exile that appeared only moments before my writing this...and this Noir dude HAS to be the Spades guy... what kinda crap is this? Is it funny to confuse weary minded college students? Awww screw me sideways with a spork.
And then we see proof that PM and Parcel Mistress are one in the same! NOIR GIVES PM HER SWORD! TTwTT I'm such a genius! <-- a THIRD grader could have probably figured out they were the same person, but let me just have this moment!
NOTE* ~ Rose is referred to as The Seer by one of the trolls (She did mean Rose, right?...it was a girl, right? aww fuck if I know)
~ Aaaaaand Dave is called The Knight of Time :\ (In any case, after Tavros's conversation with Rose, I'm starting to find him awkwardly adorable. I mean, c'mon, asking Rose on advice on trolling Dave? You poor creature, you!)
At this moment, I wish to reflect on the many references to Con Air that Homestuck (mostly John) makes. Now, I wish to start this reflection by admitting that I may or may not have seen the entire movie (I know I've at least seen most of it). But as a small child growing up, there was always one line my sisters and I would lyrically song to one another in as deep and gruff a voice as we could muster. This line being "Put da bunneh...in dah box!" Because of this, I enjoy most of John's references to the movie because they mostly revolve around the damn bunny XD So watching John take on the role of the escapee prisoner, reuniting with his lovely wife and daughter (represented in Homestuck as two yellow lizards)... let's just say, it may have made me chuckle somewhat...maybe...and when he gave his "lovely wife" a hug, I may have chuckled again, and then exclaimed "what the hell am I reading?!"
Another mental Note* ~ fourth exile's abbreviations are WQ... what does that even stand for? Don't tell me it stands for "White Queen" to bring equilibrium with the previously introduced "Dark (or Black, I dunno) Queen" ...if that's what it means, I may sob.
And then what the bloody hell? We jump back to the Parcel Mistress and suddenly the Dark Queen's all white and junk...I don't even.. Is she even the same person? OMAIGOD This chick IS the White Queen! THE EXILE IS WHITE QUEEN! ...no wonder her handwriting is perfect...
Gawd, this probably means the Black Queen IS that 8 bitch from the intermission...*heavy sigh*
Then we're introduced to a new land: The Land of Heat and Clockwork. It looks very unpleasant, and somehow Dave is in a tux and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure what I witnessed in that animation. Dave, I guess, does some major ass kicking, which is all the better because he's wearing a mother fuckin white tux. He knows what real badass is...until his sprite shows up with Cal's head? I hope Dave kills that thing, and I hope he does it fast, because it freaks me out, man. And what's with those disk thingies that Dave's whipping outta his ass? What IS that? Some form of conveniencey I suppose...
...So Dave then turns himself into his sprite? Hmmm, I suppose I now suddenly understand many of floating Dave pictures I've been seeing on DA... To tell you the truth, I don't even know how to react to "Davesprite." What I CAN say is that it's waaaay better than the Cal thing...
So I'm going to end my post tonight with this next animation I watched. Again, a lot of shit went down and I'm clueless, but Mr. Jack Noir, HAS to be the damn Spades guy! After ripping off his clown themed clothing, I saw that fucking spade symbol! And that black queen or whatever... You know I don't even know. I'd still assume she was that 8 bitch if I didn't watch Jack attack her and turn into some screwed up bird thing...whatever, this whole thing doesn't make sense. She probably is the 8 bitch. Jack probably is Spades. And I'm ending it here cuz I'm going to double check my theory that Spades was the imp who "let Dad escape" a lot earlier in the series because he destroy the clown hat.
P.S. ~ That imp that I mention...yeah, that was Jack, or Spades, or whatever...I don't even...it's midnight... I just need to go to bed.

Soooo I'm quickly finding out that these 30 day challenges are super fun and awesome XD and very enjoyable! What does this mean? Of course! I'm going to start another one! Oh gawd, one kind of monster did I create?!

To be completely honest with you, I would have to go with the PS2 or the PS3 (too lazy today to find pictures)... I mean, I know the Sony systems are kinda glitchy, especially the PS2 (seriously, I went through three PS2s because they took a shit on me so quickly....and I know a bunch of other people who had theirs also take a shit on them... but I can't deny it, my PS2 and PS3 are my babies. They put out most of the games that I absolutely love!
Day 12) A game everyone should play.
That's another hard one. For me, it's kind of a tossup between two games (Shadow Hearts: Covenant being one of them) but I suppose for variety, I'll go with the other one:

Spyro the Dragon
I LOOOOOOVED Spyro when I was young. It was my obsession. I was so obsessed with it, I even got my mother hooked on it for awhile XD It'd be so funny waking up to go to school and seeing your mom in the corner playing Spyro XP I almost wish she never fell outta playing it cuz I'd kill to see her play it now XD

Yuri Hyuga (Shadow Hearts: Covenant)
Not only is he smexy, but he also kicks ass and is just a joy to play as XD He's got such an attitude, but it's not the bad kind...it's more like the "omaigod lmao I can't believe he just said/did that" kind and the fact that his catch-phrase happens to be "bite me" just makes it all the better! And after playing the first game of the series and finding out about his past, you can't help but love him!

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon
It's such a beautiful game! Sure the game play's a little slow, but I think slow paced games are nice once in awhile, and the graphics completely make up for it. You also get emotionally attached to the characters just in time for them to be taken away TT^TT It's a very sad and depressing game, but again, it's soooo beautiful, aaand I'll never forget Crow D: POOOOR CROOOOOW! </3
Yeah, this game is def underrated. So many reviewers give it terrible reviews (mostly because of how slow it is) but it's soooooo good!

I drew a comic once making fun of the Ashley situation where Leon accidently shoots her cuz she runs outta nowhere amongst the horde of zombies...I could totally see her doing that, in fact, she probably HAS done that. And then on top of being completely useless and annoying, she thinks she can successfully hit on Leon...ya lady, nooooo. Leon's a smart cookie, smart enough to be all like "....yaaanoooooooo" I feel bad for the president for having such a ...stupid daughter XP

Shinjiro X Minako (Persona 3 Portable)
SOCUTESOCUTESOCUTE *head explodes* but I will have to point out that Yuri/Alice (Shadow Hearts) is a very close second. If you really want to read my rant about why I love Shinji/Minako, then you'll have to check out my 30 Days of Persona Awesomeness post XD
This is actually a really tough one because there are so many game soundtracks that I really enjoy. Shadow Hearts, Persona, sooo many! I may have to go with this choice tho...:
Ar Tonelico
The Ar Tonelico games are based off of music and the magical power it holds in their world, but anyway, the soundtracks for all the AT games are always stunning and beautiful! Any game by this team (such as the Aterlier games and the Mana Khemia games) usually also have very awesome music, but AT beats them all in my opinion.
The one that I can think of at the top of my head is:
(Reviving Alice) Shadow Hearts 2
*SPOILER* In the first Shadow Hearts game, we follow Yuri, a rambunctious and cocky man who meets a pastor(?)'s daughter named Alice. Through the events of the first game, the two end up falling in love, buuuuut... at the end of the first game, certain things happen where Alice ends up dying. It's a truly sad scene. Although this picture's from the Shadow Hearts 2: Covenant, it basically represents what happened in the first game. After defeating the main bad guy, Alice and Yuri are traveling on a train to see Alice's family. On the ride, Alice lays her head on Yuri's head and dies. Yuri doesn't notice it at first, so he tries waking her up, but then realizes she's dead and starts crying. It's soooo sad, but this isn't the scene that I'm marking as the saddest <--- This is just back story so that the actual scene will make sense. All throughout Shadow Hearts 2, Yuri is still madly in love with Alice, so when he finds out there's a way to possibly bring her back from the dead, he jumps on the chance. He finds a book with the power of reviving the dead, so him and an ancient scientist named Roger Bacon decide to cast the spell written in the book to try and bring Alice back.
Before Yuri's eyes, Alice's body starts to regenerate, but halfway through, something goes wrong. Alice opens her eyes, but her body begins to crumble away. Distressed, Yuri begins to cry out to Alice, begging her to not leave him again, but the rest of her body dissolves into the air, leaving Yuri alone again.
As you're playing Shadow Hearts, you can't help but become emotionally attached to Yuri (which, may I add, makes the ending of Shadow Hearts 2 one of the dumbest endings EVER...granted it was inevitable and it should have happened, but it's still stupid TT^TT)...but by this point, I was practically balling for Yuri. This poor man wants nothing more than to be with Alice, and when he almost gets her back, she's gone again. It's so sad! Just thinking about it makes me tear up *sniffle* It's okay, Yuri!!!!! I'll give you a huuuuuug!
Another hard one...
Kingdom Hearts 2
Don't judge me! The reason I picked KHII is because I like having the ability to jump, double jump, glide, and all those fun chain attacks you get to do during the fights. Games that don't let me even jump kinda end up pissing me off cuz seriously, what do you have against jumping? It's not like people don't know how to jump! XP
To be completely honest with you, I would have to go with the PS2 or the PS3 (too lazy today to find pictures)... I mean, I know the Sony systems are kinda glitchy, especially the PS2 (seriously, I went through three PS2s because they took a shit on me so quickly....and I know a bunch of other people who had theirs also take a shit on them... but I can't deny it, my PS2 and PS3 are my babies. They put out most of the games that I absolutely love!
Day 12) A game everyone should play.
That's another hard one. For me, it's kind of a tossup between two games (Shadow Hearts: Covenant being one of them) but I suppose for variety, I'll go with the other one:
Okami
Such a beautiful and wonderful game! It's very unique, the designs are odd but intriguing, the scenery's gorgeous, the game play's fun, I loved the fighting system. I just think this game's amazing. It's for sure one I'd recommend to anyone. Okami's really in a league of it's own since they're isn't really another game like it.
To tell you the truth there isn't many games I've played multiple times except, Haunting Ground and Prinny (which you HAVE to play multiple times to somewhat finish it) but I'm gonna let you in on the game I've played the most amount of times:
Shadows of Destiny
It's a very short game with multiple endings. The game's about this blonde kid...well guy named Eike who gets killed but gets brought back to life by _________(I know what his name is, but trying to spell it is going to kill me)...anywho, Eike is then told that he has to prevent his own death. Even after he escapes his original fate when he first died, he finds out he's still not out of danger because whoever was trying to kill him is very bound and determined to get him dead. The entire game, you play as Eike trying to prevent the many deaths that were plotted against him.
When I was much younger, I played this game until my eyes bled. I couldn't even imagine to guess how many times I ended up playing it... There isn't any fighting, it's all mental planning and when I look back on it now, calling it a "slow game" would be an overwhelming understatement. When it was re released for the PSP, I immediately bought it...that was about a year ago, but I have to bring myself to play it again. Don't get me wrong, I still love the game, I think it's just that I need to mentally prepare myself for it all over again XD

I actually really love this wallpaper on my computer. It makes it look like my computer screen has turned into a tv XD and plus, since it's Persona 4, it's an insta win lol
Resonance of Fate
Imma gonna put up here a couple of screen shots from RoF (the game I'm playing right now) just so you guys can get a sense of it and its gameplay. The reason I origionally bought this game is because of the awesome graphics! It wowed me the first time I ever saw it. Oh and the *ahem* person with the pony tail...I guarantee that you'll first think that he's a chick with his feminine hair, but in actuality he's a he...every person who's watched me play this game has had this confusion lol
You can buy new outfits for the three protagonists. Unfortunately money is kinda hard to come by (since you only get it through missions and you don't get a lot of missions...) so although it's really amusing to put them in ridiculous get ups...I don't do it very often. I have to be a penny pincher in this game.
All I care to say about the battle system is this: it looks complicated (although it really isn't) but it DID take me over an hour to figure it out. Once I did though, the fights became easy. The only problem is that I can spend hours fighting and only level up maybe once. I hate the leveling up system (the only way to level the people up is to level up their weapon or use of that weapon) so the fastest way to level up is to make them jump between the three weapon choices...which even if you still do that, it takes forever to level up...I wanna smack whoever invented that leveling up system T_T
That, also, is a really tough one...
Final Fantasy Dissidia
Especially since it's a game for the PSP. The cut scenes are beautiful and so very realistic! Probably the best I've seen on a PSP game, aside from Crisis Core (cuz those cut scenes were really awesome too!)

Daniella (Haunting Ground)
She will kill you with her almighty powers of maidum! Anywho, Daniella is one of the antagonists from the survival horror game for the PS2, Haunting Ground. It's a very creepy game, and Daniella just makes the entire experience worth it! She's one of those characters that you hate violently, but when it comes down the end of her arc of the game, you can't help but feel so sorry for her. All she wanted was to be human! *sniffle*
ooooh! Plus, she's really fun to play against! Her part of the game is by far my favorite! Two words: creepy carousel!

This game took "adult situations" to the extreme. The reason I chose this one for best story is because it's something that I've never seen in another game. The entire plot is based around Vincent who cheats on his girlfriend with some spunky young chick and because of that, he has nightmares every night where if someone dies in them, they end up dying in the real world too... It's a very interesting story that the player can control based off of their own morals or wants.

TT^TT I'm sooo sorry, Vincent! You were always one of mah favorites! <3 but...but....I struggled so hard through that game! First off, I suck at shooters, secondly, I just...I don't even. Really, the only thing that somewhat saved the game was seeing Vincent's past and seeing him as a young Turk *w* EEEEEE! Such a cutie!

I'm not sure why these games appeal to me, but they do! It's probably because of the anime styled graphics and such *shrugs* I bought this game like a year ago and still have yet to play it TT^TT <--- trying to suffer through Resonance of Fate first...but yeah, I'll eventually get there!
*Ahem* so if you noticed, I changed this question from "Best voice acting" to "The worst in the world voice acting." There really aren't a lot of games I get excited about because of the voice acting (unless Liam O'Brian, Troy Baker, or Travis Willingham are in it!) so I can't really make a decision on which one I would think is the best...but I suppose if I did, I'd choose Catherine (since it has Liam O'Brian, Troy Baker, AND Travis Willingham in it *w*) buuuuut I think doing the worst voice acting would be more fun...because GAWD, does it make me angery >:[

Damn Straight! Chaos motherfuckin Wars T_T Whoever was in charge of the English dub of this game should be slapped in the face! I can't even CONVEY the horror I felt when I played this game. It almost made me weep in despair! Seriously! If you haven't heard the audio from this game...go look, NOW! Watch a video, and abhor it with every single cell in your body! ALL the voices are monotone, and friggin Yuri (as I concluded is my favorite character) sounds like a flamboyant gay man (nothing against the gay community) but being that he's such a womanizer, it doesn't fit!

Right before this fight, you see a lot of screwed up shit that freaks you out, and then out of nowhere, you hear the remix of Burn My Dread (which always gives me goosebumps) and then this fight! *SQUEEE* There really isn't words to explain how excited I get over this fight when I play the game! :D

I generally don't care much for fighting games, but Bloody Roar 3 is mah fav X3X Probably because they can turn into beast people, and kick some ass... y'know, the AWESOME stuff XD

30 Days of Persona AWESOMENESS
Last night, I finally caved in and putting Prinny 2 aside, allowed myself to start playing Persona 2: Innocent Sin. I'm only one day in playing the mothereffer and I'm already friggin addicted! At first I was worried cuz hideous visions of past experiences of playing the first Persona game surfaced before I even started P2. Sure, I kept remembering how everyone basically raved about how amazing Persona 2 was, but I was still hesitant because Persona 1 was...just...so...meh. I was very unimpressed with it. But anyway! It kinda depresses me that this was one of the only pictures I could even find of Brown TT3TT Oh well, I guess it doesn't really break my heart. To be honest, I found the first game extremely repetitive and boring. Really, Brown was basically my entertainment throughout the game. When I think about it now, I can't even say whyyyy I liked Brown because I don't really remember anything about the game, which is sad to say because I only played it about a year ago. But it's true!

I will say it again, don't judge me! I know it's supposed to be similar to what Elizabeth and Theo wear, but I still like Margaret's outfit. I think it makes her look sophisticated and when you look at it close up, it's really an interesting design and being that I'm someone who sews, it really intrigues me XD

Like seriously?! Would YOU want to run into THIS in a dark alley. Some contradictory goth with an axe and that stupid thing on her head, making it look like something was stabbed through it. And those stupid looks she makes D: I would be afraid for my life. I guess it's time to walk softly and carry a big stick! BAM!
